"In Troubled Times"

Trouble Times
Psalms 27:5-7
It’s time to Open your eyes to the world around you, we are living in a FAMINE!
How do you judge your family, neighbors, coworkers, or a stranger in the store? Are you able to see beyond race, politics, religion, or their chosen lifestyles?
Do you find yourself going through the motions of life? Living LIFE with built up anger, still holding on to grudges, or even living in fear of others? How can YOU justify that as living your best life?
ANGER- You letting someone get you so riled up, that it pulls you out of character. Who really came out on top, if you scooped down to their level?
GRUDGES- You refusing to forgive someone for a mistake they made! Have you yourself never Done wrong? Did God gave you Grace?
FEAR- Are you afraid of the times we are living in? Afraid to share the word of God with family or a stranger? Afraid to stand up for what is right, even if it means your standing alone?
Now let’s picture OUR faith as a bottle of YooHoo, all the chocolate has settled at the bottom of the bottle. Do you open the bottle and begin to drink, or do you give it a little shake to mix the chocolate from bottom?
As Christian we often get complacent with our FAITH settling at the bottom of life. Well that is until something comes along to shake us up. Why do we have to wait for trials and tribulations to come, before we remember to lean on the word of God?(He will never leave or forsake you) Shouldn’t WE be prepared before the battle starts?
We often take for granted THE easy access we have to God, so yes IT IS hard to imagine a time that WE will be shut off from His presence. Left hungry for a word from the Lord, AND He will not be available to us!
Take notices to the signs All around you. It’s time to get right with God. You can no longer straddle the fence, It’s dangerous to play both sides. Who do you want fighting for you in this FAMINE!
Invite someone to church with you on next Sunday
